Now that we have established that JDOCD is primarily caused by one’s initial introduction to Johnny Depp through one of the many characters he has portrayed in film, here is a listing of those films you will want to avoid, if you have not already fallen victim to this disorder. I bolded the films I have seen thus far. I am shamed to confess that I have not yet seen Neverland, but do certainly intend to as soon as my schedule allows. Clearly, I do not suffer from JDOCD as seriously as some do, as this is not the only JD film I have not seen (and believe it or not, there are a few I don’t INTEND to see in the future). However, having seen 20 out of 29 films indicates that the condition is serious enough to require attention.
For all other JDOCD sufferers, what’s YOUR favorite Johnny Depp film/character and why? Mine? If I were forced to make a decision (and that would be almost unbearable), I would have to go with Roux, the 'River Rat' from Chocolat.
